Mitigating Production Risk
Our bespoke music, sound design and music licensing solutions are changing the paradigm for how media entities and content creators source and license music. We are not a music library nor do we compete with music libraries. Regardless of the clearance processes in place, it is virtually impossible for music libraries to ensure that the entirety of their catalog is free of identifiable sampled loops, beats and melodic hooks, not to mention whether or not the license agreements associated with the virtual instruments used in the creation of many of these catalogs include sync rights. Across the entire production chain, from Music Supervisor to Showrunner, our solutions mitigate the legal and reputational risks that can arise from licensing music from music libraries.
Furthermore, we do not use AI to help generate musical ideas or any form of musical composition, regardless of how long or short the cue. Despite what many AI technology companies would like you to believe, AI generated music presents very ambiguous ownership rights and carries significant clearance and production risk. Original, custom music production is the best way to mitigate this risk while also enhancing the storytelling experience and adding value to your intellectual property. As production partners and co-stewards of our client's intellectual property, risk mitigation is paramount and central to every creative decision.

We have also made very significant investments into a professional music production and sound recording studio. This production facility and its underlying infrastructure enables us to meet demanding production timelines while also being able to support the creative, collaboration and audio engineering requirements of music supervisors, directors, sound editors and rerecording mixers anywhere in the world. This studio infrastructure also enables us to meet the multichannel delivery requirements of the major studios and leading streaming platforms, including deliverables in Dolby Atmos.

Perhaps the single most under appreciated aspect of our work is the amount of audio engineering that goes into our music and sound design solutions and the number of interconnected technologies that we rely upon every single day to make these solutions a reality.
Our strategic plan calls for continued investment in technologies that will continue to advance our creative work and provide a source of competitive advantage for our clients. We recently installed a Dante bridge solution to provide production solutions over IP to meet the distributed production needs of clients as well as for working with talent, regardless of geographic proximity and tour/production schedules. For nearly all of our engagements, our technology infrastructure enables us to go from concept to execution without being dependent upon the production schedules of third-party production facilities. This investment in infrastructure and a dedicated studio enables us to reduce production cycle times and expenses for clients all while providing an unparalleled level of control and quality of service.
