RISK MITIGATION
and Our Position on AI
Artists are the gatekeepers of truth. We are civilization's anchor. We are the compass for humanity's conscience.
Harry Belafonte
Despite what many AI technology companies would like to you to believe, AI generated music presents very ambiguous ownership rights and carries significant clearance and production risk.
Original, custom music production is the best way to mitigate this risk while also enhancing the storytelling experience and adding value to your IP portfolio. As stewards of our client's intellectual property and brand reputation, risk mitigation is paramount and central to every creative decision.

The Paris Commitment
We were one of the original signatories to The Paris Commitment and emphatically believe that human creativity must be protected in the age of AI. The Paris Commitment is a global declaration launched by the International Confederation of Societies of Authors and Composers (CISAC) on June 4, 2026, calling on governments, technology companies and cultural industries to ensure that human creativity remains recognized, protected and fairly compensated in the age of artificial intelligence.
The Paris Commitment affirms that “human creativity must be protected, respected, and sustained as a defining force of expression, culture, identity and progress” and committed to following and safeguarding the following principles:
-
Creativity is a fundamental human endeavor and must be actively protected. Human creators are the source of artistic expression and cultural diversity. Local stories, languages, voices and traditions are the lifeblood of vibrant and diverse communities and must never be diminished.
-
Innovation must strengthen - not weaken - creative value. Technological progress must respect creators' rights through transparency, licensing and fair compensation. Al should support human creativity, not exploit it.
-
Collective management is essential to a fair and sustainable creative ecosystem. Strong collaboration among creators, collective management organizations, cultural institutions and industry partners is vital to ensuring creators can thrive and continue contributing to society and culture.
-
Governments and decision-makers must act to safeguard the future of creativity. Policy and regulation must evolve to uphold creator’s rights, ensure accountability towards rightsholders, and safeguard the diversity and integrity of cultural expressions.
